Stoffel salon and Stüva
The Stoffel salon and the Stüva are among the most beautiful rooms in the house built in 1919. The precious pine wood as well as the artistic carving and turning work have been preserved to this day. The historic tiled stove has been renovated and can be fired up again. Both rooms are actively used every day for reading, chatting, eating and drinking.
Kitchen and chefs
Head chef Thomas Krättli from Untervaz and sous-chef Jaroslav Andrejcik from Slovakia, supported by the talented Hamza from Sudan, work tirelessly to ensure our guests are well looked after. With passion and creativity, day in, day out, they prepare, fry, cook and bake the delicious dishes and meals that are loved by our diners and regularly met with applause.
Transforming a dining room into a restaurant
Under the leadership of the renowned Chur architect Tilla Theus, the outdated dining room was completely renovated in autumn 2015. The pine wood that is present throughout the house and characterizes the ambience was also used for the new restaurant. A new interpretation of the directly adjacent Stoffelstube was created. What remains is the spacious window front, which offers a unique view of the Arosa mountains.
